LiAngelo Ball often gets the least attention of any of the Ball family men, but that wasn't the case at today's introductory press conference.
LaVar, LaMelo, and LiAngelo Ball were introduced to the media for the brothers' new team, BC Vytautas, today, and as is the case with most Ball family endeavors, it was pretty entertaining.
All three Balls, LaVar included, received their jerseys, LaVar pledged to learn some Lithuanian and praised head coach Virginijus Šeškus for his energetic coaching style, and also jokingly (I think?) announced that he is out of retirement.
Oh, and LiAngelo got asked out by a reporter, who he had apparently waved at earlier.
ESPN posted the entire press conference to YouTube. The whole thing is worth a watch for those who are fans of Ball family antics, but the moment with the reporter comes in at around the 13:28 mark. LiAngelo gives the diplomatic answer of "I just came here to play," and did not directly answer her question of whether he has a girlfriend.
ESPN's Jeff Goodman got a picture of Evelina Pavliukovic, the reporter who made LiAngelo Ball blush.
No one honestly knows how long the Ball family in Lithuania experiment will last, or how the larger Big Baller Brand infatuation remains a weekly, if not daily, source of entertainment for the sports world. It does appear that as long as they are in Lithuania, it should be pretty entertaining.
According to Lithuanian basketball reporter Donatas Urbonas, LiAngelo Ball is set to make his pro debut on Saturday, while his younger brother LaMelo is still working through some documentation issues before he can make his debut.
