Despite all the hype surrounding Lonzo Ball's tenure in Los Angeles, the UCLA product was quickly shipped to New Orleans in a blockbuster deal involving Anthony Davis. Well, it's apparent that Ball won't shy away from showing his true feelings about being traded.

When Los Angeles took Ball in the 2017 NBA Draft, the consensus around the league was that he'd become the next face of the franchise. That obviously wasn't the case, though.

Ball didn't make any cryptic remarks about the Lakers when the trade was first announced. After letting the dust settle, it appears he's ready to strike.

In his latest rap single, “Last Days,” Ball says "You know I’m all about business. LA is going to regret their decision."

Clearly, the former No. 2 overall pick thinks the Lakers made a mistake by trading him so soon.

You can hear the verse where Ball takes a shot at his former team here:

The Lakers felt that it was worth trading Ball if it meant they'd add Davis to their roster. With LeBron James only under contract for three more season, it makes sense for the front office to be in win-now mode.

Ball could use this trade as motivation for his third year in the NBA. He'll get the chance for revenge against Los Angeles on Nov. 27 from the Smoothie King Center.
