LaVar Ball may have a lot to say about the LeBron James Lakers signing. The Lakers, and president Magic Johnson, are not too worried about whatever he thinks.
After the move, LaVar (surprisingly) acknowledged his son Lonzo's new teammate as "the best player in the game." Of course, a few weeks later he said that in his prime he would have beaten LeBron one-on-one, so who ever really knows where LaVar's head's at.
LaVar also took a big swipe at new Lakers point guard Rajon Rondo after he was acquired, calling him "another teammate" and "a little back-up" when asked if he was concerned about the former NBA Champion and All-Star competing for Lonzo's job.
Magic Johnson appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Wednesday night, and took an opportunity to take a shot at LaVar Ball.
Kimmel jokingly asked if Magic had consulted with LaVar about signing LeBron.
Magic's perfect response: "I would've called you first before I called LaVar Ball. Trust me."

The LeBron signing has led to some interesting moves from the Ball camp...err, family. LaVar doesn't like that first word.
While Kawhi Leonard was still available on the trade block, word leaked out that Lonzo had a torn meniscus, which would require surgery. It is not a major injury, and he's had the successful operation since, and should be ready to go for the start of the season.
Ball was not one of the main names floated in most Kawhi Lakers deals. However, some think that the family may have decided to leak word about the injury to hurt his trade value, and keep him in Los Angeles.
For what it's worth, LeBron is a fan of Lonzo's game, according to ESPN's Brian Windhorst. That's good news, because to LaVar's chagrin, this is LeBron's team now.
