Taylor Swift Sent Special Gift To Kobe Bryant's Widow, Vanessa
Taylor Swift has found a family of superfans in the late-great Kobe Bryant's widow Vanessa and his children. With her The Eras Tour ending, Swift decided to honor Kobe's family with a very special gift.
Taking to Instagram this week, Vanessa Bryant showed a photo of the gift that Swift sent her family. It consisted of an "Eras Tour" book along with a personalized written message from Swift herself.
"Oh hi!" the message reads. "As we conclude the wildest, most extraordinary adventure of my life, The Eras Tour, I wanted to share with a few friends my memories from it. The friendship bracelets, the traditions, the backstage secrets, the costumes, the world travels, the rain shows and sunsets. But what truly MADE this tour what it became was the passion, joy, unbridled emotion, and love the fans showed us every night. I hope you'll enjoy this journey through the memories of my proudest moments: The Eras Tour. Love, Taylor (heart emoji)."
According to TMZ, the book features over 500 exclusive photos and behind the scenes looks at the tour. It has reportedly sold over 800,000 copies just during the Thanksgiving weekend.
The Bryant family have become arguably the most well-known Swifties in the world. When they attended one of her concerts in 2023, Bianka Bryant received the coveted "Red" hat and a hug from Swift during the show.
Swift herself was a fan and admirer of Kobe Bryant, paying tribute to the NBA icon after the tragic helicopter crash that claimed him his daughter Gianna and seven others.
Kobe was similarly friendly with Swift, raising a championship banner in her honor at the Staples Center back in 2015.
This coming January will mark five years since Kobe's passing.
