Expectations are high in the 'The City of Angels' for the Los Angeles Lakers. With LeBron James and Anthony Davis on the court together, they're capable of beating anyone.

The Lakers' season-opener takes place on Tuesday night against the Clippers. Ahead of the late night game, Los Angeles has released an awesome hype video for the 2019-20 season.

The video pays tribute to the history of the franchise and the legendary players which have donned the purple and gold. It also highlights this year's team and the new players which have been added to the roster.

Check out the video below.

The Lakers are celebrating their 60th anniversary of moving the franchise to Los Angeles. Prior to the move, the team played in Minneapolis. Former Lakers owner Bob Short took a chance to move the team in 1960, a decision which has paid off in more ways than expected.

Now, 60 years later, the Lakers are back on another NBA Finals hunt. Golden State has been the league's top team the past few seasons. But injuries and other team additions have added a whole lot of parity in the NBA.

LeBron and AD are hoping to add to the Lakers' championship trophies. They start that championship run on Tuesday night.

Lakers-Clippers tips off at 10:30 p.m. ET on TNT.
