Atlanta Hawks superstar Trae Young continued his domination of the NBA playoffs last night, scoring 48 points in a 116-113 win in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals. Just about everyone was blown away by Young's performance, including one of the league's top rising stars.

Taking to Twitter last night, Memphis Grizzlies guard Ja Morant expressed how delighted he was at seeing Young dominate the game against the Milwaukee Bucks. He essentially said that Young is waking up everyone who doesn't believe in him.

"wake them mfs up trae!!!!" Morant tweeted.

Those 48 points by Young were his highest of the playoffs. They're the most he's scored in any game for Atlanta since February 2020.

Trae Young has dominated the playoffs more than almost any player on any team has so far this year. He clobbered the New York Knicks, dispatching the No. 4 team in the East in five games before setting his sights on the No. 1 seeded Philadelphia 76ers.

Averaging 29 points per game, Young and the Hawks took the Sixers all the way to Game 7, recording five double-doubles in the process.

The Milwaukee Bucks are already learning the hard way that Young's dominance in the first two rounds of the playoffs are no fluke. If they want to avoid yet another playoff disappointment, they have to start treating him like he's one of the elite.

Will Trae Young lead the Atlanta Hawks to the NBA Finals?
