Earlier this week, a report emerged suggesting ESPN's NBA Countdown crew would be undergoing significant changes heading into the next NBA season.

According to the report from Sports by Brooks’ Brooks Melchior, Michelle Beadle would not return as the host. Either Maria Taylor or Rachel Nichols was slated as Beadle's replacement, per the report.

Before Game 6 of the NBA Finals between Golden State and Toronto on Thursday night, Beadle sent out a tweet that quickly went viral.

Is she responding to the report or just having fun?

You be the judge.

ESPN released a statement responding to the report from Melchior:

"Our whole NBA team is doing a great job and remains focused on an incredible NBA Finals and tomorrow night's Game 6. We have made no decisions about what we are doing next season. After the season, and as we do with every sport, we will sit down and plan our entire NBA content offering across platforms," the statement read.

Beadle has been a mainstay in ESPN's NBA coverage in recent years, though that could change in the next few months.

Both Maria Taylor and Rachel Nichols are fan-favorites who would command a great audience if they take over for Beadle.
