NBA players are doing all they can to avoid boredom during the league’s postponement and player quarantine. Some are turning to video games while others are simply spending time with family. But Giannis Antetokounmpo has found a new way to distract himself.
The Bucks’ All-Star and 2020 MVP favorite is attempting to learn how to play the guitar during his quarantine. But it’s not going very well so far.
In a now viral video, Giannis attempts to play one of the most famous guitar riffs of all time from the song ‘Smoke on the Water’ by Deep Purple. Let’s just say his version doesn’t sound very good.
But at least Giannis is having some fun while basketball’s put on hold for a little while. Check out his hilariously bad guitar rendition below:

Now seems like a good time to remind everyone we’re just three days into the NBA’s postponement. Without basketball – and sports in general – players and fans are starting to get creative with their time.
Several NBA players are starting to live stream their video game play for fans to watch and participate in chat rooms. But Giannis is keeping things simple. He may even start a band.

With so much time off, perhaps the NBA star will improve his guitar playing rather quickly.
