Charles Barkley and the rest of the Inside The NBA crew had fun at the Minnesota Timberwolves' expense following Tuesday's play-in game.
Following Minnesota's victory over the Los Angeles Clippers, Patrick Beverley and other Timberwolves players celebrated vigorously with the home crowd.
Their excitement seems warranted, but earned them the derision of Barkley and company.
"We need 'One Shining Moment' [playing]," Barkley said as Shaq, Kenny Smith and even Ernie Johnson laughed it up.
Honestly, as entertaining as Barkley and everybody on Inside the NBA is, we disagree with them mocking Minnesota here, even if they're only doing it in jest.
The Timberwolves just won a hard-fought game at home to clinch only their second playoff appearance in the last 18seasons. That's grounds for celebrating.
Sure, the old saying is "Act like you've been there before," but if you actually haven't been there before, that's tough to do. No problem at all with what Minnesota did.
