The 2024 NBA All-Star Game is only a few weeks away, and we're getting a first look at the players who will be on the floor when the ball is tipped in Indianapolis.

The game is moving back to the traditional East vs. West format this year, as the league is doing away with the pickup style game it played for the last several years.

The starters for the Eastern conference were revealed on Thursday, and the five on the floor are mostly familiar names joined by one very special young player.

Philadelphia 76ers star and reigning NBA MVP Joel Embiid will be joined by Jayson Tatum of the Boston Celtics.

The Milwaukee Bucks will send two starters to the game with Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard getting the nod.

It's Lillard's first appearance on the East roster after playing the first 12 seasons of his career out west with the Portland Trail Blazers.

The fifth and final starter will represent his team at its home arena, as Indiana Pacers guard Tyrese Haliburton is set to make his first All-Star start in the Gainbridge Fieldhouse.

Haliburton is following up his first All-Star selection last season with an even better year.

He led the Pacers to the final of the first-ever In-Season Tournament, and the team is firmly in the Eastern conference playoff picture.

The Western conference starters will also be revealed on Thursday, and the reserves - chosen by the league's head coaches - will be named later.
