Photo: Comparing NBA Draft Attire, 2003 vs. 2017

Let's all take a moment to appreciate how fashion has evolved.

The 2017 NBA Draft took place last night, and we got to witness a lot of talented basketball players finally achieve their dream of being drafted into the NBA. It was cool! What was also cool, at least for me, was evaluating the players' fashion choices on what was—at least up to this point—probably the most important night of their lives.

As you're about to see below, the 2017 draft class looked pretty spiffy, especially when you compare them to the class of 2003, which looks like it was compromised of a bunch of teenagers wearing their dad's suits. It's not pretty.

Check it out:

2003 was only 14 years ago, but somehow looking at that picture it feels like 50, and if LeBron James could go back in time to advise his younger self, I highly doubt he'd still wear that awful all-white ensemble. At the very least I think he'd tailor the pants.

And while we're on the topic of basketball players wearing awful suits, let's check in and see what Tracy McGrady is wearing these days:

Ah, a shower curtain for pants.
