NBA Fans Stunned By Blockbuster Chris Paul, Warriors Trade

The NBA world is stunned by the latest blockbuster deal involving the Golden State Warriors and Washington Wizards.
According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, the Wizards are trading the recently-acquired Chris Paul to the Warriors in exchange for Jordan Poole and future draft compensation.
The deal allows the Wizards to offload Paul, who doesn't fit in with their plans to rebuild at 38 years old. Poole provides the team with a younger asset they can either build around or evaluate for a future move.
For Golden State, they add yet another seasoned veteran to their championship core, giving Paul another chance to win an elusive NBA championship.
The unexpected move has shocked NBA fans, who are reacting on social media.
"Probably the strangest 24 hours of trades I can remember," one fan said.
"If you’d told me CP3 would play for the Warriors during Lob City I’d laughed in your face uncontrollably," another fan said.
"Chris Paul went from being Steph's biggest competition in the point guard position to his backup," one fan noted.
Paul's personal rivalry with the Warriors extends back to his days in Los Angeles with the Clippers, so it will be strange to see him join a team he has spend so much of his career trying to beat.
