Fresh off leading the Toronto Raptors to the NBA championship, Kawhi Leonard is entering free agency. He's likely the biggest prize on the market.

Reports have indicated that the Los Angeles Clippers are the favorite to sign Leonard. The Raptors are also said to be strongly in the mix to retain Leonard on a long-term deal.

Kawhi is a Southern California native and has long been rumored to want to return home. In fact, earlier today, we saw our first glimpse into Tinseltown's recruitment of the 2019 NBA Finals MVP.

According to The Athletic's Frank Isola, the Clips are "tentatively scheduled" to meet with Leonard next Tuesday, July 2. NBA free agency officially kicks off Sunday.

If it comes down to LA vs. Toronto for Leonard, it will be fascinating to follow the pursuit from both franchises.

One has to think the Clippers are more "desperate" to land Leonard, considering they are trying to build a roster to compete in the West, while the Raptors have already one a title with the soon-to-be 28-year-old star.

However, it is tough to have a more positive experience in a city than Kawhi had this past season with Toronto. That ought to give Masai Ujiri and company a fighting shot in this battle.
