'Who Is This?' - Fans Confused By Zion Williamson's New Look

Pelicans forward Zion Williamson returned to action this month for the first time since Nov. 6 against the Cavs and so far he's mostly picked up right where he left off.

But it was his new appearance that had fans questioning what was going on with the two-time All-Star.

The former No. 1 pick already looked a little different coming into the season by rocking a full beard and adding some massive chest and back tattoos. But now Williamson has decided to try a goatee on for size.

Fans reacted to "Goatee Z" on X:

"that's Khalil Mack," a user said.

"zion mccall," Travonne Edwards replied.

"[expletive] look like J-Prince," another commented.

"This He Got Game [expletive] goatee."

"This man has done absolutely 0 for this organization," a fan posted.

"I feel like goatees are a more risky facial hair choice than a [mustache]," Esfandiar Baraheni commented.

"You don't mess with the zohan [expletive] goatee bruh," another user cried.

"He shoulda got another suspension for this," another fan claimed.

Williamson is averaging 20.8 points, 8.5 rebounds and 5.5 assists in 25.5 minutes since coming back to the court.

Unfortunately as dominant as Zion can be when he's on the floor, those opportunities come way too few and far between. The Duke product's career continues to be hampered by injuries and he's appeared in just 10 games this season.

The sky really could be the limit for Williamson if he was ever able to put together a full regular and postseason. However, his lack of reliability in that regard has really hurt his NBA standing and trade value to this point.
