The NBA’s All-Star Weekend is the unofficial recruiting event of the year for the league’s top players. “Tampering doesn’t exist at the All-Star Game” is a common phrase spewed by the NBA’s best, including LeBron James.
This weekend, no two players appeared to be closer than Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant. Of course, both of those star players are set to hit free agency this summer.
There’s been a lot of talk of Irving and Durant teaming up on the New York Knicks, who have cleared space for two max contracts.
Irving is a New York City area native and Durant has long been rumored to be a target for the Knicks’ franchise.
The following video is doing nothing to dispel that.

Some on the internet have speculated that Irving is talking about the Knicks having “two max slots” in this video. Of course, it’s unclear if that’s what he’s actually saying. Irving does appear to be saying something about “two,” but it’s far from clear.
Regardless, the Irving-Durant rumors are not going away. In fact, they’re only going to heat up heading into the summer.
