Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving’s decisions to sign with the Brooklyn Nets over the New York Knicks would not be complete without seeing Stephen A. Smith react to them.
Now, we don’t have to wait any longer. Smith, ESPN’s most die-hard Knick fan, posted a video of his thoughts following New York’s free agency whiff.
It is as glorious as you might imagine. A visibly upset Smith is shown on camera wearing a backwards hat and looking like he’s sitting at a weight machine at the gym.
He begins solemnly addressing his audience as if he were delivering a eulogy. In a way, he is, as the hopes of all Knicks fans died tonight.
