Tim Hardaway Jr. Agrees To 4-Year, $71 Million Deal With New York Knicks

Hardaway Jr. was drafted by New York.

The Knicks have signed one of their former players to a big offer.

Tim Hardaway Jr., a restricted free agent, has agreed to terms on a contract with New York, the franchise that drafted him coming out of Michigan.

ESPN first reported the news.

Hardaway is set to make $71 million over 4 years.

Hardaway Jr., the son of former NBA point guard Tim Hardaway, played for the Knicks from 2013-15 before being traded to the Hawks, whom he's been with since.

Atlanta had two days to match the offer made by the Knicks, but renounced its rights to Hardaway, making him a free agent.
