Who says KD can't play nicely with Russell Westbrook these days?

Last night was the NBA Awards, and Oklahoma City Thunder star Russell Westbrook took home MVP honors.

On the community page of KD's official YouTube channel, he congratulated last night's winners, including Russ. Even Kevin Durant, Westbrook's ex-teammate/current nemesis, gave him props.

After predicting that this year's Most Improved Player, Giannis Antetokounmpo, would eventually win an MVP award, Durant said he called Russ winning MVP a few years ago.

Here is how he shouted out his former teammate:

In fact, I called out this years MVP years ago so you gotta respect my knowledge for the game lol. Huge congrats to Russell Westbrook on MVP, that boy went out there and was a created player on 2k all year, F----n balled out. Gotta respect it!

Good on KD here. The NBA is a better league because both of these guys are in it, even if they are on opposing teams.
