Without a doubt, Oklahoma City Thunder big man Steven Adams is one of the strongest players in the NBA. He proved that again tonight.
Adams didn’t do so by winning a battle down in the paint or flattening an opposing player with a screen. Rather, he showcased his might with an absurd heave from beyond half-court at the end of the first half in New Orleans.
Just watch how Adams “shoots” this ball. He throws it like I throw a ball for my dog to chase after, and it casually travels about 60 feet and goes in the basket.
Even more incredible is the fact that this was Adams’ first career three-pointer. He’s now 1-for-10 from behind the arc as an NBA player.

Adams and the Thunder now lead the Pelicans 98-93 heading into the fourth quarter. Adams has nine points and eight rebounds.
Oklahoma City entered tonight’s game in seventh place in the Western Conference with a 32-22 overall record.
