The Indiana Pacers have taken to Twitter to announce an injury update for star guard Victor Oladipo.

The All-Star guard went down with an apparent leg injury in the first half of his team's game this evening.

Oladipo was down on the ground for several minutes before getting stretchered off the floor in tears.

The Pacers released the following update:

"Injury update: After suffering a serious injury to his right knee, Victor Oladipo will have an MRI tomorrow and an update will be provided then," the Pacers tweeted.

Oladipo suffered an awkward fall on one end of the floor and appeared to suffer a knee injury. Oladipo had missed some games earlier this season. "Pacers All-Star Victor Oladipo was taken off the court on a stretcher in the first half versus the Raptors with an apparent knee injury. Oladipo had tears in his eyes but gave a thumbs up as he was wheeled to the locker room," ESPN tweeted.

The Pacers have had brutal luck with their star players and leg injuries in recent years, as former Indiana star Paul George suffered one during a Team USA scrimmage several summers ago.

Our thoughts are with Oladipo and the Pacers. Hopefully the injury isn't as bad as it looks.
