Pau Gasol will be returning to the NBA for a 19th season. The veteran big man has reportedly agreed to a new free agent contract.

According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, Gasol will sign a one-year deal with the Portland Trail Blazers. Portland will be the sixth NBA franchise Gasol has suited up for.

Last season, he appeared in 27 games (six starts) for the San Antonio Spurs before being waived on March 1. On March 3, Gasol signed with the Milwaukee Bucks.

He wound up playing in only three games for the Bucks due to an ankle injury and did not see action in the playoffs.

In Portland, Gasol will once again be playing for a contender. The Trail Blazers reached the Western Conference Finals this past season before being swept by the Golden State Warriors.

The 39-year-old Gasol was a first-round pick of the Atlanta Hawks in 2001. He was traded to the Memphis Grizzlies on draft night.

Gasol is a six-time All-Star and four-time All-NBA player. He won a pair of rings with the Los Angeles Lakers in 2009 and 2010.

For his NBA career, Gasol has averaged 17.0 points, 9.2 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game.
