New Orleans Pelicans head coach Alvin Gentry will have a vastly different team next season now that Anthony Davis is gone. But after all of the grief Davis gave the Pelicans, Gentry didn't mind poking a little fun at his now-former star forward.

In a recent interview, Gentry was asked for his thoughts on the massive package the Pelicans received from the Los Angeles Lakers in the Davis trade. His response was a bit of a barb at Anthony Davis when he said, "That's a haul, folks."

The response was a clear dig at a shirt Davis infamously wore at his last game as a member of the Pelicans. Prior to their season finale against the Golden State Warriors, the team posted a picture of him wearing a shirt that included the famous Looney Tunes outro line "That's all, folks!"

Prior to last week's NBA Draft, the Pelicans traded Davis in exchange for draft picks, Lonzo Ball, Josh Hart, and Brandon Ingram.

Davis might not be missed for long though as the Pelicans' off-season haul also included top NBA Draft prospect Zion Williamson, who they got with the No. 1 overall lottery pick.

The Pelicans also added to their draft with the acquisitions of Jaxson Hayes and Nickeil Alexander-Walker.

Suffice it to say, the Pelicans might just be a far more interesting team without Anthony Davis than with him.
