The Philadelphia 76ers might have the most talent out of any team in the NBA. However, if the team doesn't show out this postseason the front office could move on from either Ben Simmons or Joel Embiid.

Rumors have been floating around in recent weeks about Embiid and Simmons potentially being on the move this offseason. Both are All-Star players in their own right, but they might not be the best fit together.

Philadelphia hasn't commented on this subject, especially since the playoffs are just two months away. Nonetheless, it appears the writing is on the wall for the Sixers.

According to ESPN's Tim Bontemps, there are league executives that could see the Sixers moving on from Embiid instead of Simmons due to his health concerns. It could be a last resort option for the team depending on how this season plays out.

Here's what Bontemps had to say, via ESPN:

There is no consensus, but league execs think that if the Sixers do explore a trade, Embiid is more likely to be moved -- health being the determining factor in building around Simmons. One exec added that a big trade featuring Simmons or Embiid might be the only way to reshape the team.

Embiid might be the better player than Simmons. He's a dominant presence in the paint and has shown he's a double-double machine.

The issue with Embiid is that he's not very durable. Simmons, on the other hand, has been pretty reliable since missing his first year in the NBA.

Maybe the front office looks to ship out Al Horford or Tobias Harris instead of Embiid, but neither have as much value on the trade block.
