On Tuesday night, Philadelphia 76ers star Ben Simmons had fans across the country freaking out with what he did on the court.
So what had everyone freaking out?
Well, the young forward decided to take a shot from beyond the arc – something he rarely does. Except this time, he hit it.
That’s right, Ben Simmons sank a three-pointer in the team’s preseason game against the Guangzhou Long-Lions.
It’s the first made three-point shot in his young career.
Check it out.

Simmons balked at reporters when asked about his ability to shoot the three ball, suggesting he’s an All-Star even without the three-point shot in his arsenal.
However, it’s clear he put in work on hitting shots from beyond the arc in the offseason and that hard work is paying off.
Through just one half of play, Simmons and the 76ers are blowing out the competition – though that is to be expected.
Simmons poured in 19 points, tossed seven assists and grabbed five rebounds in just the first half.
Philadelphia holds an 82-41 lead after the first half of play.
Is this something we’ll be seeing more of from Simmons? If he develops a three-point shot, that could be the end of competition in the Eastern Conference.
