The Philadelphia 76ers have dominated the Toronto Raptors in the playoffs so far, racing out to a 3-0 lead with Joel Embiid as the star of the show. But Embiid might not even be at 100-percent right now.

According to ESPN's Ramona Shelburne, Embiid was dealing with "pain and discomfort in his right thumb" during practice today. It's not so bad that he's going to miss Game 4 tomorrow, but could require an MRI in the future.

Through Game 3 of the playoffs, Embiid has three double-doubles, averaging 27.7 points and 13 rebounds per game. Two of those wins have come by double digits.

Embiid is no stranger to playoff injuries though. He missed 1.5 games against the Washington Wizards in last year's playoffs and was at full health for their seven-game series against the Atlanta Hawks.

If there was ever a year for the Philadelphia 76ers to finally get over the hump and win an NBA title, it would be this one. Joel Embiid just won the NBA scoring title and the rest of the team is playing some of their best basketball.

It would be a tragedy if injuries once again stopped the 76ers in their track right as they're building momentum.

Will Joel Embiid be healthy enough to play the rest of the series, or will he have to miss a game or two before it's actually over?
