Report: J.J. Redick Signs 1-Year, $23 Million Deal With Philadelphia 76ers

The top free agent met with several teams.

J.J. Redick is one of the best available guards on the free agent market.

His first meeting as a free agent was with the Philadelphia 76ers, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

After his meeting with Philly, Redick met with a few other teams which sparked a bidding war for the guard.

In the end, Redick decided to trust the process, to the tune of a 1-year, $23 million deal.

Redick seems like a perfect addition to Philadelphia's young team, which could use some shooting at the guard position. He'll also be the kind of veteran presence the 76ers could benefit from inside the locker room.
