Well that didn't take long. Anthony Davis has only been a Laker for less than a day and he already has his own mural.

Taking to Instagram on Sunday, artist and muralist Gustavo Zermeño Jr. revealed a massive mural of Davis sporting a Los Angeles Lakers jersey. He noted in his post that he and some other artists worked all night to complete it.

The mural was unveiled mere hours after reports surfaced that the Los Angeles Lakers had acquired Davis in a trade with the New Orleans Pelicans. Los Angeles gave up Josh Hart, Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram and several first-round draft picks to seal the deal.

The move is expected to be announced in early-July around the start of free agency.

The former No. 1 overall pick in the 2012 NBA Draft, Davis has made it to six straight All-Star games, averaging over 25 points per game in the process.

However, Davis has made it clear for a long time that he wants out of New Orleans, and tried to force his way out this past season.

Los Angeles attempted to swing a trade for Davis before the trade deadline, but the deal never materialized.

New Orleans may not have been inclined to give Davis up were it not for the tremendous fortune of landing the No. 1 overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft.

It looks like Davis is in for a very warm welcome in the city of Los Angeles.
