With no playoffs to prepare for, LeBron James has had a lot more free time in May than in previous years. But the Lakers superstar certainly appears to be using his time wisely.

Taking to social media on Monday, LeBron revealed that he went to the Lakers' building at 4 o'clock in the morning to train. The trip comes just days after he was snubbed for the All-NBA First-Team for the first time in over a decade.

Los Angeles was eliminated from playoff contention well before the end of the season. Team president Magic Johnson resigned immediately afterwards, and head coach Luke Walton was fired right after.

Things have certainly been pretty chaotic for the Lakers, and LeBron is doing a solid job of staying focused on preparing for next season.

LeBron joined the Lakers on a four-year deal last summer, and the Lakers were quickly dubbed as an NBA Finals contender.

Prior to joining the Lakers, LeBron had been to nine straight NBA Finals between stints with the Cleveland Cavaliers and Miami Heat. He won three NBA titles in that span.

But injuries limited LeBron to the fewest games of his career, and the team finished with a paltry 37-45 record.
