Carmelo Anthony is back.
According to a report from ESPN NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski, the Portland Trail Blazers are signing the former NBA star.
Anthony has been rumored to several teams over the past few months he’s been away from the league. The Los Angeles Lakers and Brooklyn Nets were mentioned as possible landing spot for the 10-time All-Star.
After being away from the court for nearly a year, he’ll be back on the big stage with Portland.

Over the summer, Anthony participated in an informal five-on-five scrimmage with a few members of the New York Knicks. The workout sparked rumors of a potential return to the Knicks, but those didn’t last very long.
Before the season, Anthony told First Take he wanted to play again.
“I want to play and I want to go and win a championship, but I also want to play. I want to get back out there on the court because I miss the game [and was] away from the game for damn near a whole season. [I] got the opportunity to step back and grow as a person, and I deserve another shot,” Anthony said.
We’ll have to wait and see how big a role he plays.
Stay tuned for the latest.
