The Chicago Sun-Times reports that Irving has been contacting his Team USA teammates to let them know he might push for a trade next summer if James ends up leaving Cleveland for Los Angeles or somewhere else.

Through back channels, Chicago would be one of the places that Irving would be interested to play.
Bulls' star Jimmy Butler is reportedly pushing for a trade to Cleveland to team up with Irving and James. If that happens, it's tough to see Irving leaving next summer. He'd certainly receive a lot of interest from other teams if he is put on the trading block, though.
