The NBA dominated headlines after free agency opened nearly two weeks ago.
In the time since free agency started, several major stars have found new teams. Kevin Durant, Kawhi Leonard, Kyrie Irving, Paul George and Kemba Walker – to name a few – will all start the 2019-20 season on a new team.
NBA writers have been busy keeping up with the plethora of activity going on around the league.
Just when we thought the NBA would give us a break, the Oklahoma City Thunder made yet another blockbuster trade.
General manager Sam Presti shipped star point guard Russell Westbrook to the Houston Rockets.
In return, the Thunder received point guard Chris Paul, two first-round picks and two picks swaps.
After the trade, an old tweet from Westbrook went viral.
10 years ago, Westbrook tweeted “on my way to Houston.”
On my way to houston.

It took a while, but the star point guard finally found his way to Houston.
The Rockets made a bold play to keep pace in the Western Conference. With the additions of Kawhi Leonard and Anthony Davis, the West won’t be won easily.
Now the Rockets have to believe they have the firepower necessary to compete in a crowded conference.
Stay tuned for the latest.
