Russell Westbrook’s Reaction To This Kevin Durant Joke Is Going Viral

Russell Westbrook has seemingly gotten over Kevin Durant’s decision to leave him for the Golden State Warriors, though the now-former Oklahoma City Thunder star did have some fun at his former teammate’s expense.

Video has emerged of Russell Westbrook’s “Why Not?” comedy show for charity in Tulsa, Oklahoma on Thursday night.

Of course, a Kevin Durant joke was told.

“Kevin Durant came by — this is how long ago this was, many years ago — so KD came by. So now we all talking. So it was me, Russ and KD. And Russ was like, ‘When’s your next show?’ And I said, ‘I’m gonna be in the Bay Area soon.’ And KD said, ‘Me too!’

“We didn’t know what he meant at the time,” comedian Lance Woods said.

Westbrook, sitting in the front row, clearly enjoyed that one.

The star point guard had quite a night that Thursday evening. That was also the night Westbrook learned he had been traded to the Houston Rockets for Chris Paul.
