Watch: Kings Coach Dave Joerger Leaves Game After Falling To Knees Due To "Lightheadedness"

The Kings playing the Spurs.

Sacramento Kings head coach Dave Joerger had a momentary scare tonight.

During the first quarter of tonight's game against the Spurs in San Antonio, Sacramento Kings head coach Dave Joerger fell to his knees on the sideline.

Joerger, who looked like he was either yelling for his team to get back on defense or was arguing a call, did not lose consciousness. He was helped to his feet by his assistant coaches.

While Joerger wasn't suffering a medical emergency, he still exited the court and went to the locker room.

The Kings are saying Joerger's fall was caused by "a momentary episode of lightheadedness. He'll miss the rest of the game for precautionary reasons.

"Kings head coach Dave Joerger experienced a momentary episode of lightheadedness tonight during the first quarter at San Antonio," the Kings tweeted. "For precautionary reasons he will not return to the bench this evening."

According to ESPN, Joerger "appeared to be experiencing some discomfort when he was shown on the scoreboard during pregame introductions."

You can see Joerger fall in the video below.

Hopefully Joerger is totally fine and can get back on the sideline as soon as possible.

The Spurs currently lead the Kings by 10 early in the fourth quarter.
