Over the past few days plenty of NBA players have changed teams: notably Kyle Lowry and Lonzo Ball.
Earlier reports suggested the Los Angeles Lakers were on the hunt for DeRozan. However, after the team traded for star point guard Russell Westbrook, that destination faded.
Now a new frontrunner has emerged for the Spurs star. According to a report from NBA insider Marc Stein, the Chicago Bulls are now in the mix for DeRozan.
Among the options that have emerged for DeMar DeRozan is a sign-and-trade to Chicago, league sources say.

With the Spurs last season, he averaged 21.6 points, a career-high 6.9 assists and 4.2 rebounds a game. Unfortunately, he hasn’t adapted to the game and has a lackluster shooting percentage from beyond the arc. He’s shooting just 25.7 percent from deep on 1.2 attempts per game.
While DeRozan has been the best player on most of the teams he’s been on, it’s clear he’s not the quality of superstar that can lead a team to a title on his own.
Now it sounds like he could be joining the Chicago Bulls with Lonzo Ball.
