A sideline photo of two NBA stars, the Miami Heat's Dwyane Wade and the Dallas Mavericks' Dirk Nowitzki, is going viral on social media tonight. It's pretty great.

Wade and Nowitzki, who have matched up in the NBA Finals multiple times (Wade winning once and Nowitzki winning once), are matching up for (probably) the final time tonight.

The Heat star guard has said that he'll be retiring at the end of the season. He's making his final trip to Dallas (barring a miraculous NBA Finals matchup) this evening.

Wade and Nowitzki checked into the game at the same time tonight, perhaps thanks to the Mavericks' head coach, Rick Carlisle.

"Maybe it was coincidental -- or maybe not -- but Mavs coach Rick Carlisle called for Dirk Nowitzki to enter the game as soon as he saw Dwyane Wade at the scorer's table. The old rivals then checked in together after sharing a good laugh," Marc Stein tweeted.

Wade received a mixed reaction as he checked into the game.

"Some boos, some cheers as Dwyane Wade goes to the scorer’s table. Lot of No. 3 Heat jerseys in the stands. More Mavs fans with long memories," Tim MacMahon tweeted.

The photo is pretty great:

It's tough to find two NBA players more respected than those two. It's cool to see them both enjoying a moment like that.
