Steph Curry Makes It Clear Who He's Voting For In November

The 2024 presidential election is only a few months away, and both of the major parties have outlined their platforms.

Both national conventions have wrapped up, and the Democratic National Convention featured a special guest on Thursday night.

Golden State Warriors star and Olympic gold medalist Stephen Curry appeared remotely, and he made it clear who he was personally supporting in this year's election.

"I believe Kamala [Harris] as president will bring that unity back and continue to move our country forward," Curry said, putting forth his endorsement for the current Vice President.

"This is about preserving hope and belief in our country, making sure families can be taken care of during their most precious times."

Curry went on to note that he's personally met the Vice President, visiting the Biden/Harris White House after the Warriors won the NBA championship in 2022.

"I got to visit Kamala with my team in the White House last year and I can tell you one thing. I knew then and I definitely know now, the Oval Office suits her well," said the four-time NBA champion.

"So in the words of Michelle Obama, do something. Go vote. Be active. Let's show out in November, like never before. It's been an honor for me to represent our country. It's an honor to support Kamala. Let's all do our part, and God bless."

Curry wasn't the only member of the Golden State Warriors organization to appear at the DNC. Head coach Steve Kerr spoke in person in Chicago on Monday night, and he also endorsed Vice President Harris.

“She represents the Bay Area,” Curry said about Harris near the start of the Olympics.

“She’s been a big supporter of us, so I want to give that energy back to her. We’re representing our country here, and this is a very monumental next couple of months for the direction where we’re headed. Hopefully, this is a great way to do our part to continue unifying our country with how sports brings a lot of people together."

Curry, Kerr and other members of the Warriors will likely do what they can to help Harris in the coming months.
