Anthony has his eyes set on one team.
There were reportedly two teams Carmelo Anthony was willing to waive his no-trade clause for: the Cavs and the Rockets.
Other teams have reportedly tried to get him to stray away from that (the Blazers and the Thunder supposedly had serious interest) but they were unsuccessful.
Anthony's list is apparently now down to one team, per the New York Post.
A stalemate has ensued as sources indicate Anthony only wishes to waive his no-trade clause to go to the Rockets. Not even Cleveland, which is in turmoil, is good enough for Anthony as the Cavaliers are dealing with Kyrie Irving’s trade demand.
A couple of months ago, the idea of Carmelo saying no to the possibility of playing with LeBron James would've been laughed at.
Now, it kind of makes sense.
It's still tough to see Houston making a trade with New York work, though.
