Proposals at sporting events are usually insanely cookie cutter, and while they almost always get accepted, they just seem tacky. However, tonight's proposal at an NBA game was admittedly pretty creative.

During the Detroit Pistons' home game against the Washington Wizards, one of the Pistons' dance team members received a proposal from what was apparently another dance team member. The guy went all out for his proposal.

He did so by performing an entire dance, complete with background dancers. It was unique, to say the least.

Congratulations to the happy couple. This at least beats a scoreboard proposal.

It was a night to remember for the Pistons themselves, as Detroit held on to beat Washington. The win moves the Pistons to 26-29 overall and keeps them in the eighth and final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.

The Miami Heat, Orlando Magic and Wizards are Detroit's main competition for that spot.
