Videos: Kentucky Fan Drake Rocks All Wildcats Gear While Visiting Texas Basketball

Once upon a time, Drake was basically the hip-hop version of Kenny Chesney, with new favorite teams basically every appearance. To his credit, he’s really pared down his rooting interests in recent years. Drake is now an ambassador for his hometown Toronto Raptors, and he has formed a bond with John Calipari, and is a pretty legitimate Kentucky basketball fan at this point. Drake was in Austin on Tuesday visiting with the Longhorns, but he’s still wearing his Wildcat gear on campus.

Totally normal occurrence with @Drake on the 40 Acres.

Props to @TexasWBB for keeping it. pic.twitter.com/U3XxJqgEsY

We can’t help but respect this new, less pandering Drake. A few album cycles ago, he would’ve been in more burnt orange gear than you’ve ever seen.
