The All-Star point guard was asked if he talked to LeBron before wanting out.

Kyrie Irving is on ESPN's First Take this morning.

The entire appearance is worth a watch simply because of how weird it is - the All-Star point guard is giving a ton of vague, indirect answers - but one Q&A is standing out.

Stephen A. Smith asked the former Cavs' star if he talked to LeBron James before demanding to be traded.

"No," Irving said. "Why would I have to?"

"If you don't talk to somebody they might take it personally," Smith responded. "You don't care about that at all?"

"No," Irving answered.
