Houston Rockets head coach Mike D'Antoni looked really sad last night.
The Houston Rockets were playing for their playoff lives last night, but don’t tell the team that. San Antonio entered the night with a 3-2 lead over the Rockets in the Second Round of the Western Conference NBA Playoffs.
With a home game, the Rockets were looking forward to having a home-court advantage, but that quickly disappeared. The result was not kind to the team, or its fans. San Antonio blew the doors off of Houston en route to a 114-75 win.
With a 19-point deficit at halftime, head coach Mike D'Antoni was spotted on the bench with James Harden looking extremely sad.
It was a devastating loss for the Rockets, as the Spurs were without two of their best players. Tony Parker suffered a knee injury earlier in the series that will keep him out for the remainder of the playoffs, while Kawhi Leonard suffered an ankle injury in the previous game.
San Antonio moves on to play the Golden State Warriors in a series that will begin on Sunday.
