Game 3 between the New Orleans Pelicans and Golden State Warriors ended with the home team winning for the third consecutive time. The Pelicans took advantage of the Warriors shooting woes on Friday night, scoring a 119-100 win.
New Orleans won in large part to Rajon Rondo's performance. Rondo, despite scoring just four points, racked up 21 assists and 10 rebounds, and yet it's not his offensive performance we're talking about the day after the game.
Rondo, with just under five minutes to play, got caught either attempting to trip or attempting to flat tire Warriors forward Draymond Green.
But that's not all.
It also appears that Rondo allegedly tried to swipe Steph Curry's feet out from under him.
Luckily for Curry, Rondo missed, however this could have been a series-changing moment that left Steph severely injured. Curry has had significant ankle injuries in the past, and it looks like Rondo was trying to take advantage of that.
Will anything come as a result of the play?
We'll find out this Sunday as Game 4 tips off from New Orleans.
