The Milwaukee Bucks' 2018-19 season ended in fairly tragic fashion in last night's Game 6 loss. But after enjoying a historic season led by MVP candidate Giannis Antetokounmpo, Bucks fans are taking the loss in stride.

Video footage from the Bucks shows Giannis being greeted by Bucks fans after the game, all of whom were cheering for him. The main chant was "MVP! MVP!"

The Bucks started the Eastern Conference Finals up 2-0, but lost the next four straight. In Game 6, the Bucks squandered a 13-point first quarter lead to lose 100-94.

Despite coming off a heartbreaking loss, Giannis still managed to shake hands and take pictures with the cheering fans.

As for the MVP chant, we'll find out for sure in June whether the fans are right or not. But Giannis does have a very strong case.

He set new career highs in almost all categories while leading the Bucks to an NBA-best 60-22 record - their highest win total in decades.

Giannis finished the regular season averaging 27.7 points per game, 12.5 rebounds per game, and 5.9 assists per game.

For his efforts, Giannis was named to the All-NBA First-Team for the first time in his career, earning the honor with a unanimous vote.

It was a heart-breaking end to the season, but at only 24 years old, Giannis has plenty of time to bring the Bucks back.
