Golden State assistant coach Ron Adams has spurned an offer from the Los Angeles Lakers and will remain with the Warriors, according to ESPN.
Adams will be back with the Warriors in a “revised” role, per ESPN’s Ohm Youngmisuk. He has been an assistant under Steve Kerr for the last five seasons.
Overall, Adams has been an NBA assistant for more than 25 years with the Warriors, Boston Celtics, Chicago Bulls, Oklahoma City Thunder, Milwaukee Bucks, Philadelphia 76ers and San Antonio Spurs.
He also served as the head coach of Fresno State from 1986-90 and Fresno Pacific from 1972-75.

Reports of them pursuing Adams first surfaced last month.
