Which Teams LeBron Might Leave The Cavs For

Here's where LeBron James might go if he leaves the Cavs.

LeBron James is reportedly unhappy with the Cavs' decision to not retain general manager David Griffin.

Combine that with reports of James considering leaving Cleveland for another team after the 2017-18 season and panic-mode has officially set in among Cavs fans.

If James was to leave the franchise after next season, where would he go?

There appear to be three options right now.

Kevin O'Connor of The Ringer reported that people in NBA circles think James will leave the Cavs for Los Angeles next summer. He has a home in L.A. and is pursuing non-basketball things in Hollywood.

The Lakers are reportedly targeting a potential LeBron-Paul George duo, too.

The Lakers aren't the only NBA team located in Los Angeles. The Clippers could be a serious option for LeBron, since they will likely have Chris Paul, his good friend, and maybe some cap space to add another star.

By far the least-likely of the three (at least in my mind), maybe LeBron would consider going back to Miami. He loves the city and has spent time there since coming back to Cleveland. James could potentially re-up with Dwyane Wade here as well.
