Anthony Davis trade talks between the Los Angeles Lakers and the New Orleans Pelicans appear to be heating up.

Multiple outlets are reporting that the Lakers and the Pelicans have connected on phone calls regarding a Davis trade.

"Lakers and Pelicans executives have connected on the phone concerning Anthony Davis, league sources tell ESPN. They're expected to talk again prior to next week's trade deadline," ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reports.

The Lakers have reportedly let the Pelicans know that a strong trade offer is on the table. Brad Turner is reporting that Magic Johnson has told the Pelicans that Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram, Kyle Kuzma and a first-round pick are on the table. "Sources: Lakers let Demps know one of trade scenarios would include Lonzo Ball, Kyle Kuzma, Brandon Ingram, Ivica Zubac, No. 1 pick, per source," he reports.

Another young Lakers' player, Josh Hart, has also been mentioned a lot in potential Davis trades.

The former Villanova star is aware of this.

Hart took to Twitter to react to the news.

Hart is certainly right about that.
