One of the top recruits in the 2019 class has backed off his commitment, according to Scout.com's Evan Daniels.

Jaykwon Walton, a four-star guard out of Alabama, has reportedly de-committed from Mississippi State.

Daniels first reported the news.

"Four-star guard Jaykwon Walton backed off his pledge to Mississippi State today, per sources. Walton, No. 59 in the 247Sports Composite, had committed to the Bulldogs on Saturday."

Walton, a 6-foot-6 guard, is ranked the No. 7 shooting guard in the class by 247Sports' Composite Rankings.

He initially committed to Mississippi State over Alabama and Georgia, among other programs.
