5-Star SF Brian Bowen Reportedly Visited Louisville This Week

The top remaining 2017 basketball recruit reportedly visited a new suitor this week.

La Porte (Ind.) La Lumiere School five-star small forward Brian Bowen visited Louisville on Monday and Tuesday, according to a new report.

ESPN Louisville radio host Drew Deener reported this morning that the Cardinals hosted Bowen for a multi-day visit.

The Courier-Journal has more:

[Bowen] took in Churchill Downs on Monday and watched the Cards practice on Tuesday, Deener said, citing three sources.

"It's not like it's a stone-cold lock (that Bowen will attend Louisville)," Deener said on his show. "This kid doesn't know where he's going to go."

Bowen's recruitment has been all over the map. It looked like Michigan State or Arizona might be the favorite early on, but then Creighton and DePaul emerged. Lately, Oregon and Texas have gotten involved, and now, reportedly, so has Louisville.

Bowen is the No. 5 small forward and the No. 18 player in the 2017 class, according to 247Sports' Composite Rankings.

Here is a look at Louisville's class, currently. The Cards have one open scholarship left.
