A No. 16 Seed Just Went On A 16-0 Run To Take The Lead

A No. 16 seed has never beaten a No. 1 in the NCAA Tournament. Some were predicting that to change this year.

The popular upset pick was No. 16 Penn over No. 1 Kansas. That, unfortunately, did not happen.

It was close for a while, but the Jayhawks just ended up being too much to handle.

We have another No. 1/No. 16 game taking place tonight. Will this be the one?

Well...

No. 16 seed Texas Southern has just stormed into the lead against No. 1 seed Xavier. The Musketeers gave up a 16-0 run.

It was Texas Southern 20, Xavier 15 at the under-12 mark.

Xavier has since come back to tie the game at 20-20. But it's looking like this could be a close one.

The game is being televised on TBS.
