Aaron Rodgers and Danica Patrick have become one of sport's biggest power couples. The duo has been in the headlines lately, too.

Patrick will be hosting this year's ESPYs. She's the first female host in the history of the sports awards show.

Rodgers will likely be in attendance, supporting her.

Patrick recently revealed in an interview how her and Rodgers first met. They actually met at the ESPYs a couple of years ago.

Rodgers, being the suave NFL quarterback that he is, did not give Patrick his phone number. He did give her something to allow them to keep in touch, though - his email.

It worked, apparently.

"We met at the ESPYs back in 2012. … We remember meeting each other, it was quick," Patrick said Tuesday on Sirius XM’s "Jenny McCarthy Show."

"I got his email address, and I remember thinking to myself, ‘Oh, not a phone number? Just an email address?'"

Patrick and Rodgers confirmed their relationship back in January. They do now have each other's phone numbers, of course.

"It wasn’t until, obviously, recently that we actually had phone numbers,” Patrick said. “We referred to each other as Chicago and Green Bay. It was very cute."

This year's ESPYs are set to be held on July 18.
